SharkBite introduces the Push Brass Reducing Coupling for easy coupling of your pipes. When transitioning pipe size, there is no easier way than with SharkBite�s push-fit reducing couplings. Made of brass, these SharkBite fittings easily reduce from 1 inch to 3/4 inch or 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch all the way down to 1/4 inch sizes, thus coupling pipes with ease. There is no need for solder, glue, clamps, or unions with these plumbing fittings; simply push-to-connect to have pipe unions and move on. This quick connect pipe connector is lead-free and designed to fit pipes for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications with no access panels required. The SharkBite connectors are rated to 200-degree Fahrenheit and 200 psi. The compatible pipe materials for these SharkBite couplings are PVC, CPVC, copper, and Pex.
